CSJob: Research internship opening at MERL, Compressive radar imaging and large-scale optimization, Cambridge, MA, USA

Ulugbek just sent me the following:

Dear Igor,

I hope you are well. I just wanted to advertise a new research internship opening at MERL, which might interest PhD students working on compressive radar imaging and large-scale optimization: http://www.merl.com/internship/openings.php#MM1077. The internship will be in Cambridge, MA, USA, with a flexible start and end dates, and will last 3-6 months.

"MM1077: Large-scale Computational Radar Imaging: The Computational Sensing team at MERL is seeking a motivated and qualified individual to conduct research on large-scale computational radar imaging under wave-based forward models. The ideal candidate should be a Ph.D. student and have a solid background and publication record in imaging inverse problems, large-scale optimization, and/or radar imaging. Experience with experimentally measured data is desirable. Publication of the results produced during the internship is expected. The duration of the internship is anticipated to be 3-6 months. Start date is flexible."

The work will be primarily about radar imaging with the emphasis on imaging algorithms.

Kind Regards,
- Ulugbek
