Compressive Sensing Post Doc at Imperial College

Research Associate

Imperial College London - Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Communications and Signal Processing Group

Salary in the range £31,300 - £39,920 per annum
Fixed term appointment for one year (with a possibility of extension)

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join the University Defence Research Centre (UDRC) in Signal Processing (http://mod-udrc.org/) at Imperial College London to work on a research project on sparse signal processing. The research focuses on adaptive compressed sampling of wideband dynamic signals. Both theoretical and experimental research are anticipated. The position offers a unique opportunity for a talented scientist to work in a dynamic and innovative environment and to develop their career at the interface of basic research and its applications.

The successful candidate will have a PhD (or equivalent) in signal processing/coding or a similar subject, and a good first degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science. A background in compressed sensing or sparse coding is desirable, but anyone with general knowledge in signal processing or communications is encouraged to apply.
